Individual Classes
Alba Page, cellist from Cuenca, has been fortunate to have exceptional teachers among which Doña María de Macedo and Roel Dieltiens stand out.
As an orchestral musician she has participated in concerts with Zürich Opera Orchestra, Radio Television Symphony Orchestra (RTVE), Extremadura Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Basel, among others. Winning the job in the latter by Audition in 2008 and where she collaborated as cooprincipal and principal cello under the direction of Simon Gaudenz and Kevin Griffiths until june 2015.
She has performed as chamber music and solo cellist with great musicians.
She entered the world of flamenco thanks to Juan Parrilla, having the opportunity to play in Europe, Canada and México together with Rafael Amargo, María Juncal or José Luis Montón and to share the stage with artists such as Manuel Molina, as well as recording for various musical programs for RTVE ( Spanish National Television).
As Violoncello teacher she has worked in different Conservatoirs, Music Schools and Universities in Spain and Swizerland.
In 2015 the Discovery of the Suzuki Method Philosophy led her to devote to pedagogy, training year after year as a teacher of this method and of which she currently courses the 5th level. Her teachers Arantza López and Euàlia Subira have have been a source of inspiration towards pedagogy and towards life. During her formative years she has also been very lucky to be influenced by Carey Beth Hockett, Chantal Latil, Rubén Rivera, Tessa Oakley and Anja Maja. Currently Alba Page is a regular reinforcement of the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra and a teacher at the Valleseco Music School in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
