Díez
Individual Classes
Lucia is a Spanish cellist based in Madrid. She started her musical education with the Piano with M.T. MacLeman and Cello with Marina Kolesnikova in Santander before continuing her studies with the cellist Viguen Sarkissov in Oviedo. She has received masterclasses from Asier Polo, Amit Peled, Mikael Samsonov, Álvaro Huertas, Natalia Shakoskaya, Miguel Jiménez, Paulo Gao Lima, Kennedy Moretti, Imre Rohmann, Marta Gulya, Vera Martinez Menher among others.
Her passion for pedagogy and love of constant learning led her to start the Suzuki Method training in 2014. Her teachers Arantza López y Euàlia Subirà have become her teaching models to look up to. During these years of training, she has also been fortunate to learn from Carey Beth Hockett, Anja Maja, Chantal Latil, Tessa Oakley, and Ruben Rivera.
She is currently enrolled in the level 5 Suzuki Teacher Training Course Method and is a passionate and engaged teacher to many students of several Suzuki schools in Madrid. Joy and connection are two of her favorite tools for a successful and happy learning process.
